Omar is a Professional Chef who truly believes that simple, nutritious meals can be amazing and delicious. He is dedicated to passing on his knowledge of how to get the very best from everyday ingredients.
Omar has been cooking professionally for 17 years, working in high end restaurants and hotels, before turning to professional sport.
Omar has worked with England Cricket, England Rugby, Southampton F.C, Northampton Saints RFU, The National Lottery and London Wasps. He is currently working with the GB Rowing Team ahead of Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Omar also regularly works with GB Canoeing, GB Hockey and GB Modern Pentathlon, delivering kitchen coaching sessions.
Omar believes that the food we eat plays a fundamental role in how we perform and recover. He is also an advocate of the Eat Fresh Feel Fresh Philosophy.
Omar is a regular columnist in the Rowing and Regatta magazine and has also appeared on Sky Sports and Channel 4s Journey to the Centre of Your Plate with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
