Eddie Jones: -Magnificent Haskell back for England
Eddie Jones has heaped praise on the 'magnificent' James Haskell as he returns to the England squad, with Maro Itoje and Anthony Watson also included for the 2017 RBS 6 Nations.
Uncapped trio Mike Williams, Alex Lozowski and Nathan Catt are all included, while Joe Marler makes the 34-man squad that will travel to a training camp in Portugal despite fracturing a leg playing for Harlequins.
Australian Jones is still unbeaten as England head coach and despite the Red Rose's rise to second in the world, he urged his side to continue raising standards and in an RBS 6 Nations where bonus points will be trialled for the first time, he wants his men to be daring.
"James Haskell was magnificent for England last year and is a fierce player. Anthony Watson has been a fine player for England and is one the most prolific try scorers for the number of Tests he has played," the former Australian head coach explained.
"It's good to welcome back a number of players who weren't with us during the autumn. Maro Itoje has done well for his club as has Jack Nowell.
"We are looking forward to those guys coming in and challenging for a spot and adding strength.
"Obviously I've been pleased with how the team's progressing, but there's still plenty to improve on. We always want to get better, every training session, every game."
